Just a reminder this Thursday June 19th the Bummer High skateboard team will be putting on a demo at the Hammond Dreamland Skatepark. This event is being put on by Humidity Skate Shop in New Orleans and Small Times Skates in Hammond. Be sure and support those guys and thanks for bringing events like this to support the Louisiana skate scene. Also there was going to be an event for this Sunday June 21st for Go Skateboarding Day but it's also Father's Day. So put something together yourself and get your Dad on...more

TOURS, CONTESTS, AND FUN OH MY.....

Hammond will be blowing up in June starting on the 4th they will be having a contest at the Hammond Dreamland Park which is open to all age groups go to smalltimesskates.com for more details. Looks like Levi Brown is the new Pro over at Element. Youtube that dude and check out his proper ollies. Koston is still not mentioning his next shoe sponsor but rumors are abound that someone will "swoosh" him up soon. Vox has stepped up to help all the poor skaters out there by offering a recession Vox Trooper shoe which is supposed to be affordable but durable check out the webby web for more. WHEW!!!!

LOTSA NEWS too bad I can't type it all you will just have to work for it yourself. I can tell you if you haven't already heard that Koston has left Lakai and hasn't told the world what shoe he will be lacing up in the future. Lots of people are "tweeting" on Twitter. I'm sure your favorite company is so follow them if your into that stuff.
